Located in the Back Bay area of Portland, ME, this house was purchased by the homeowner to be able to live next door to her son. While the home required a FULL GUT renovation, she was excited and thrilled at the opportunity for her forever home. This project was the true definition of "full gut" as everything was removed down to the structural frame, even exposing some foliage that had made its way indoors. A modern take to the classif New England cape style structure is now fresh and clean providing 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a relocated stairwell to offer an open and airy floor plan concept all within just under 1,000 square feet of living area.
